Spicy Shrimp
Ingredients
25 jumbo or medium sized shrimp
1 stick of butter
1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
1/4 tsp aginamoto
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black crushed pepper
2 or 3 tbsp korean dry chili pepper powder2 tbsp flour [all purpose or wheat - just to thicken the ingredients]
Clean the shrimp, remove the shells and get all your ingredients ready. Place a sauce pan on the stove (medium heat) and melt 1/2 stick of butter. Add sugar, salt, black pepper, aginamoto, and ginger/garlic paste. Stir for 2-3 minutes and then add the shrimp and the korean chili powder, you can add the remaining butter as well. Once the shrimp turns pink then you know it is cooked, now you can add the flour and stir for a minute. Make sure nothing is stuck on the pan, don't burn it. For additional heat I would add 1 tsp of cayanne pepper.
Remove from heat and serve it with some fresh rice, it is... Delicious! You can garnish it with chopped green onions or chinese parsley.
